About Focus Moduler 

Focus Moduler delivers modular buildings to companies, schools, and institutions – ranging from 60 to 2,000 square meters. With stricter requirements from DS1140 and hundreds of photos per project, the company faced a genuine problem: the documentation process was unsustainable and took far too much time.  

Focus Moduler needed a system that could be easily and simply used for documentation and quality assurance – and that is why they chose Inspectly. 

The Challenge 

When Kasper Fuhr Dahl took over as project manager at Focus Moduler in 2023, the workflow was inefficient and manual. Photos were taken, saved in large folders, and then manually sorted and inserted into reports by the administration office. Up to 1,400 photos for a single project. Every single photo had to be located, scaled, and placed correctly, which took a long time every single time. 

When DS1140 came into force with clear documentation requirements, it became overwhelming. A final handover took up to 14 full-time business days. It was not a workflow, but rather a bottleneck.

The assemblers now work with the drawings directly in Inspectly. They can navigate through the case, see exactly which photos need to be taken, and mark precisely on the drawing where the photo was taken. They don't just know what they are photographing, they also know why.

The report is the same every time. Structured, consistent, and ready for review. This means that the client typically gets back with a punch list in less than a week – in contrast to before, when the process was not even well-defined.

For team leader Jeppe Eriksen, who is a carpenter and daily user on the construction site, Inspectly is about something even more concrete; namely, precision.
